Actions From Dec. Board Meeting:
I thought it might be helpful to extract a list of actions that I think were agreed at the December Board meeting:


* Richard - Get recent work on the citation elements draft committed so Tony and Luther (and others) can see it.

* Drew - Write content for replacement left-hand pane on front page of http://fhiso.org/

* Roger - Chase Drew for the above website content, and upload it to the website.

* Drew - Contact Charity Lawyers <http://charitylawyerblog.com/topics/arizona-nonprofit-lawyer/> re getting us reinstated in Arizona; a $1000 budget has been granted without need for further Board approval.

* Roger - Contact Bank of America about getting the second monthly $15 fee removed from our bank account.

* Drew - Attempt to arrange one-on-one meetings with Find My Past, My Heritage and Ancestry at RootsTech 2017.

* Luther - Contact Michael Nier about working with us.

* Richard - Draft some rough notes on his view of the technical side of the "big picture".

* Tony & Drew - When Richard has produced the above notes, produce separate technical and non-technical documents for public consumption (maybe as a series of Facebook posts) on how we see ourself fitting into the big picture.

* Drew & Luther - Mention FHISO in your talks at RootsTech, and perhaps advertise both FHISO and the talks on Facebook with a "If you want to discuss FHISO, talk to Drew or Luther after their Rootstech talks".

* Roger - Come up with a design and quote for some garish FHISO ribbons to hand out at RootsTech.

* Roger - Check whether spam filtering is enabled on FHISO mail. [I suspect it's not -- I get a lot, but have good spam filtering at my end.]

* Tony - Keep badgering Richard to do the things he's agreed to do above. Possibly a technical conference call between Tony, Luther and Richard before Christmas?

Google is discontinuing the old interface on the 24th which means no events like this will work after that date. They will introduce a new interface and I'll have to create a new event but can't do that until after the 24th. I'll send link and details as soon as I have access to the new interface.
