Thanks for the mention.
ReplyDeleteI am so frustrated tonight after seeing that someone has a copyright claim against my videos. I use licensed music that I have paid for. I am really thinking of not posting on YouTube much.
Andrew Ledford sorry to hear that happened. Where did you license the music from? Did YouTube take the video down or did they just take away monetization?
ReplyDeleteIt happened to me in the past and I simply responded to them and let them know where I got the music from (in my case it is part of my Animoto subscription) and they removed the claim. Hope that helps.
Thank you Andrew Hatchett hope all is well :)
ReplyDeleteIleane Smith
ReplyDeleteAll is well - other than the glitches with Google! ;)
Ileane Smith I got it from SmartSound. I am probably not going to add music to anymore youtube videos. this is too much of a hassle.
ReplyDeleteI am also starting to look for an alternative.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Ledford I stopped using music in my tutorials too. It dawned on me that people aren't watching tutorials for the music.
ReplyDeleteIf I want to make a different style of video some day, I'll just use the music in the YouTube library. Can't go wrong there (I hope).
