Thanks Andrew....a friend and I were practicing and had a couple glitches and I remember you saying that if we ever needed any help that we could give you a try. I think we finally figured out the program but I really appreciate you following up.
By the way, last week got a little busy but I hope to check-in with y'all sometime this week. Are you aware of any evening HOA practice sessions that will be going on this week? Thank you!
Ok, thank you Andrew. I think I need to do that sometime soon. As a reminder, my needs are really pretty basic....I just want to use HOA so that my kids and I can interview a single person on the other end (and my kids will be sitting in the chair next to me). Can I assume the best way to set this up would be for me to arrange a sample interview (with a friend, for example) and then send the invite to a couple different people? Or do I just post it in my G+ feed?
Paul- either way would work. It just depends on how big you want the 'audience' to be. Of course, you could also just do it with no audience and record it to YouTube and then post a link to the video if you weren't planning on much engagement with the viewers.
Hey Andrew, I had another question about my set-up as it pertains to headphones and microphones. Would it be appropriate to run the question by you or the group?
Shafer Power This is an excellent question to be asked in the User2User community. I don't have the answer myself but I'm sure that John Brown , Terry Leigh Britton , and a few others will have suggestions for you.

Paul,
ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of any planned practice sessions but if you post you want to take part in one I'm sure you'll get volunteers. :)

ReplyDeleteShafer Power - Any question concerning any aspect of using Hangouts or anything any equipment to do so is appropriate :)

ReplyDeleteAndrew Hatchett Outstanding...should I re-post the question on the main community page?
ReplyDeleteShafer Power Yes- since we've been exchanging private posts no one else has seen the question yet :)
