I found this to be a great read and full of helpful info. Too bad it wasn't around when I started my community as it has TONS of suggestions that are particularly helpful if setting up a new community.

If any of you are a member of a Community here on Google+, or indeed own or moderate one, you'll be very aware that some of them are riddled with useless spam.
