Will this be a live stream that we can view here?
ReplyDeleteCraig Long It will be a live event but will be viewed at https://zoom.us/j/942343209 using the Zoom platform as it allows more than 10 in the film strip. I created this event page to handle invites and promotion only.
ReplyDeleteAndrew Hatchett Oh OK
ReplyDeleteI can not wait! I think it is so smart to have this "event" as a calendar maker and a place to hold the link and as a place for us to gather and chat before the event!!! Genius Andrew Hatchett
ReplyDeleteWow, Andrew thanks for sharing this event with us. I had been wishing we were in the path of totality, and wondering if where we live it would even be worth trying to see it. I know they are giving away glasses here to use to view it, but not sure how much we will be able to see. Got some glasses for the kids but I will watch with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Andrew Hatchett !!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Andrew!
ReplyDeleteHere is ABC Coverage of the Eclipse in 1979 if you have not seen it.

ReplyDeleteAbout tomorrow's User2User-LIVE! Solar Event...
ReplyDeleteI had planned to try and show the Shadow Bands (Sun Worms) along with the actual eclipse/shadows moving across land, etc. bit...
It seems that, according to this video, that won't be possible as Webcams don't allow for manual setting of shutter speed or aperture:

The Event will be held - it just won't show as much as originally planned.
