Hi Peggy, Quick question... is this link and the info on it public info I can share with my community?
I stumbled on it somehow and it has a lot of good info... especially the October 16th date!
Having just gotten my TC status I don't want to endanger it but I'm getting a lot of questions about how long the Classic G+ will be available.

It's good to consider that. http://googleappsupdates.blogspot.com - that's an official Google blog, so the information is public. As far as I know it's fine to share. Just be aware that many things they announce there only apply to Google Apps accounts, so read the article carefully.
ReplyDeleteI'd also share that Hangouts extension article in the Hangout Party chat so the other TCs see it :)
What you don't want to share are tech press articles that are about leaked information about Hangouts etc.
I also personally don't share articles that are speculating about new features, mostly because sometimes I know they are right or wrong, but that information isn't public yet. So I don't want to be seen as endorsing a particular line of speculation.
Also, very interesting that the new Extension looks very much like the app - I'm guessing this is going on the path towards retiring Chrome apps.
